Online video bodywork support consultations allow us to meet with you on demand. We support you on your healing journey, at each step of your way. Contact us when needed, from any internet connected device. It is as simple as making a normal phone call.
We believe that our therapeutic relationship with you should be a partnership. Since our inception in 2017 we aimed to work closely with all our clients throughout their entire healing journey, and we continue to do so today. As with all our clients, we will firmly stand alongside you to support you at each step of your journey, whenever you need it.
Today’s technology offers us the ability to connect with you on demand, through any internet-connected device. No matter where you are, we can now leverage the advantages video conferencing offer, whenever you need them.
When to book online video bodywork consultations?
Online video bodywork consultations can be useful to you in two ways. You may either be a new client who would like to use an online video consult to assess whether we are the right bodywork therapists for you. You may also be an existing client who wishes to use online video to follow-up on your last bodywork treatment. In some situations we may suggest an online follow-up with you at the end of a treatment.
How does it work?
Once you book an online video bodywork consultation with us (see below) you receive an email from us with a link. Simply click on this link at the date and time of your appointment and you will automatically guided to a web page that facilitates the meeting.
All this requires minimal digital expertise. If you are able to access the internet from either your computer or phone you already have all the software that is needed for meeting with us.
We use software called Zoom to facilitate our online video consults. Simply follow the five-step process to complete your online video consult session –
Step 1 – Go to our booking system
Visit our online booking system here and navigate with clicks to the Treatment Options panel. This is the panel that asks you to select a treatment option.
Step 2 – Select the Online Video Consultation option.
In the Treatment Option panel, select the Intake Assessment (first-time clients) option. This opens a menu from which you can select two options. Select the ‘INT-01 | Intake Assessment (Online Video)’ option.
Complete the booking process as normal, until you see the booking confirmation screen.
Step 3 – Receive confirmation
After completing your booking you will automatically receive an email to confirm it. This email includes a summary of your booking details as well as a link to our online meeting location. You can use our contact details to non-technical assistance if you are uncertain on how to use this link.
Step 4 – Join the consult
On the date and time of your booking, click the link you received in your confirmation email. This will open a normal web page of the Zoom platform. Simply follow the two instructions to enter the digital meeting room. You will not be required to purchase any services or to install additional software.
Step 5 – Close the consult
Once the consult has come to its end simply close the web page to exit the online meeting room. You are not required to do anything else. The link to the online meeting room expires automatically at the end of the consultation.
How to prepare for an online video consultation?
An online video consultation requires you to use a device that is connected to the internet. You can use a tablet, computer (Apple or PC), or mobile phone.
Make sure that your web camera, microphone, and speakers are working. If you do not know how to test or manage these, please ask someone to assist you in advance of your meeting. Note that we do cannot offer you technical assistance before or during the consultation time.
We suggest you seek privacy for your online consultation. We recommend not to meet us online from a shared office environment or public space.
We expect you to remain fully dressed during the consultation. You will not be required to remove clothing.
What follows an Online Video Intake Consultation?
The primary objective of an online video consultation is to help you decide which manual or physical therapies may be best for you, and to choose a therapist you feel most comfortable with. If you were to decide to work with us we will recommend an initial practice visit, which can either be booked online or requested by you at the end of the consultation.
Healing support when you need it
Our online video consultations allow us to offer you healing support when you need it. You may wish to ask our advice on how to manage the effects of your recent bodywork treatments, or to share any concerns you may have about your overall state or condition.
Healing support is there for you when you need it. Frequent contact with you allows us to monitor your progress and to assess the effectiveness of our treatments on a regular basis.
You will never be required to book Online Video Bodywork Consultations with us. It is an optional choice, which you can book voluntary.
Please note that we will not use online consultations to diagnose your condition(s).
