Experiencing true healing bodywork
Bodywork therapies for real physical and emotional healing. Clients trust our highly effective treatments that keep them safe and comfortable. We always aim to make each step of your treatment plan absolutely meaningful and relevant to your health, well-being, and happiness. It’s here where you may meet your authentic self yet again…
Each of your bodywork visits invites you to take an often profound and powerful next step on your healing journey. Whether you seek relief from acute or chronic pains, a persistent physical dysfunction, or to develop a stronger, more balanced, and healthier relationship with yourself, you can expect to experience sometimes significant changes during your bodywork treatments.
Also expect to be welcomed to a practice that promises to keep you safe, secure, and comfortable during your visit. You will be held in a space in which you can be yourself, and in which you can express yourself as you see necessary. You know that we always respect your privacy, sovereignty, and individuality.
Once your treatment commences you are given time to safely and securely explore and rediscover aspects of yourself that make you who you truly are. None of our treatments and therapies will ever be painful. None will ever compromise your emotional and physical well-being. It is here where you are likely to take your next significant steps on your unique healing journey.

Giving you exceptional bodywork experiences
Although we will personalise each bodywork treatment for you, sessions will always follow the same three-step structure. While ensuring you stay safe, secure, and comfortable, we also aim to make each treatment as effective as possible.
Expect the following to happen during your next bodywork treatment appointment –
Step 1 – Initial chat
We start every bodywork with an initial chat about your current state generally. We may talk about the changes you may have experienced since your last bodywork session, review our most current treatment notes, and reassess our original treatment plan. This is usually a good time for you to ask questions about your treatments, to raise any concerns you may have, or to share the highlights of your most recent progress and improvements.
Before we start the actual treatment we will ask you to feel into your body to identify where it asks for further work. You may be guided by areas that still feel painful or ‘just not quite right’. However, as you progress through your treatment plan you may become less focused on the resolution of pains and more on the strengthening of those parts that begin to feel insufficiently ‘switched on’.
Step 2 – Your bodywork treatment
Once we agree on a most effective and suitable bodywork treatment option we may quickly reconfigure the table to prepare for our session. Your therapist will then leave the room to allow for privacy while you undress, position yourself on the treatment table, and to cover yourself comfortably with the table’s sheets and blanket.
Your therapist will return on your signal, may make some final adjustments to the table, draping, and your positioning before commencing the treatment.
Unless agreed otherwise, your therapist will perform the treatment with you in silence, although soft ambient music will usually be played in the background. The purpose of this silence is to allow you to be fully with yourself during the session and help you focus on the changes that may occur within you, some of which can be very subtle. Similarly, silence will also enable your therapist to focus on the work and, equally important, to stay aware of how you respond to each interaction.
However, you will always be invited to ask questions or to provide feedback during sessions, at which point your therapist may pause the treatment to respond.
After the treatment has been completed, your therapist will allow you to reflect on the session in silence, usually for five or ten minutes. This is also to monitor your state and condition, and to help you prepare for your eventual departure.
During this quiet time you may wish to share your experiences. It is normal for clients to recall past events, both positive and negative, and to reframe these to process them safely by themselves. It is also normal for emotions and feelings to surface, which can then be identified, named, and safely ‘owned’.
Once your therapist considers you ready for redressing you will be given privacy to do so. Your therapist will return to the treatment room on your signal.
Step 3 – Reintegration and departure
The last step commences when you are fully dressed again and have called your therapist back into the room. At this point you will probably be seated and still be processing the effects of the treatment. Your therapist may perform a few final checks to assess your state and condition to make sure you are able to leave the treatment room safely.
At this point, your therapist will summarise the treatment and may share some initial observations that could inform next treatments. Session results are then recorded in your treatment notes, as well as your feedback.
To prolong the effects of your treatments, or to help you prepare for your next session, your therapist may also recommend homework, which usually consists of specific and easy exercises or stretches.
Finally, your therapist may suggest a next session, based on findings and your feedback. If you wish, a next session can be booked immediately or, alternatively, later by yourself online.
